The Volleyball-Club "VC Kanti Schaffhausen" was formed close to 30 years ago as a female high school team. The high school in the german speaking area of Switzerland is called "Kantonsschule", "Kanti" in short and nicknamed. However no longer any relations to the high school exist. Today VC Kanti Schaffhausen consists of fourteen teams playing junior leagues to subnationals, all of them female. Since more than 10 years the first team of VC Kanti Schaffhausen, internally called the "A-Team", plays the NLA, the highest Swiss League. Thanks to a new concept that started a couple of years ago we are encouraging and supporting talented girls already after entering the "Mini-Team", to move step by step. That is why our Junior-A-Team is to be found on top of the ranking lists. And out of this Junior-A-Team the best players can be found also playing the second team (in the second league) and eventually top junior players get the chance playing in three teams including at the end the A - Team.
